Today one of my groupmates accused me of appearing at the Uni only on Tuesdays. And he was right, although I've no idea why Tuesdays are so special to me.

Haven't slept a single minute the night before. It's obviously time to do something about that. Of course, I know that between this decision and some real steps taken will pass at least a month.

Tommorow my PC will be upgraded at last. Probably after that I won't need any more exterior hard drives. But you can never get enough.

Once again they started broadcasting 'House MD' on Russian TV. The fact is pretty good, yet there are those bad little things.
Fisrt of all: the actor voicing Greg is oh so honey-voiced...you can't imagine. And that doesn't make the series even more funny. No, it doesn't.
Secondly: in Russian, we have this difference between the informal 'you' and the formal 'You', which are 2 different words. And in the series all of the characters address each other formally, with 'You'. I wonder if House will continue adressing Cuddy this way after they'll have their first sleep together.
Quite many people asked me how Rubin had managed to win the Russian Championship. Well, guys, on Tuesday they showed you how.

Ironically, yesterday CSKA's performance against MU was hell of a lot better, but they lost.

This Uni week's over, thanks God, but I still have one necessary task to complete. Today or this weekend I need to meet one of my old aquaintances. The reason is unexplicable. That is, I can explain it to neither you nor myself. And that's the problem with most of our daily tasks' necessity.

OK, my neighbours aren't criminals. They're in military service, which is no better. Still, I've no idea of what the fuck they're doing at night. Last night they wouldn't let me fall asleep again. At 4 in the morning a woman left their apartment and after dragging a couple of boxes across the floor for a while, they went to sleep. So did I. Then I woke up at 7, came to the Uni late and have been having this horrible headache ever since.

The 7th Uni week is coming.

Don't wanna comment on Russian team's performance of yesterday. Germany played a little better, but we still have every chance to get to South Africa next year. I'm not worried about that.

Our new neighbours in the apartment below us are criminals. If you don't live in Russia you may think that it's pretty normal for this country, but it's not. They're 4 men apparently of Caucasian origin (probably Chechnya or Ingushetia). This isn't the reason why I consider them criminals, sure. It's not enough. Here's the enough: these 4 men, aged approx. 30, don't look like relatives - simply don't look alike, they don't work (always at home, except that sometimes some of them leave at night), they have guests at night (usually middle-aged women, with whom they don't have fun or anything, but instead just talk quite aggressively in loud voices - which is a usual habit of the southerns). While they're having these guests, it usually sounds like they're moving some furniture (no, it's not crazy sex; it's some heavy items being dragged around). The door is being opened and closed every three minutes. God damn it. Seems like everything is meant to keep my paranoia awake.

Is the Nobel Prize Committee still based in Norway or has it already moved to the west?

I can't stand listening to our History professor at the Uni. Her voice is so goddamn high-pitched that you feel as if you were inside of a dolphinarium. That's the problem with women's voices - they can be unbearable.

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

1) I discovered Regina Spektor, and discovering took me longer than others. Describing her voice I would use the word I don't feel like using in most cases: 'nice'. Her voice is really nice. Finally I found a place for this word in my world.

2) I decided to put U2 aside until next summer. Listening to U2 during any time of year other than summer is rather masochistic.

3) I want the summer back.

Today I've managed to avoid the 'behave yourself' lecture, but couldn't avoid the lecture about alcoholism, which for some reason replaced the culturology lecture that we should've had according to our curriculum. Probably the replacement was caused by the fact that today it's the Teacher's Day in Russia and therefore the problem of alcoholism is extremely relevant.

They gathered half of the faculty at one hall and we had to listen to some guy who'd been sober for nearly 40 years now, so you can imagine how irritated and unsatisfied he sounded. The videoclips about alcohol ruining human's body they showed during the lecture were quite spectacular, though.

Not sure if the event will have any effect on my coursemates' minds in any way. Abstaining from alcohol usually has nothing to do with caring about your health.

The 6th University week starts tommorow. We'll have one lecture, and probably I'll have more than that, because last week I cut some classes for no obvious reason, so I may be supposed to tell the local 'authorities' that I'm sorry and will never do anything of the kind again. Yes, I'll have to lie again. What a cruel world, etc.
This coming week I hope to get my University bank card. I haven't earned a single rouble since I quit working at the record studio 2 months ago, so I had to reduce my cute meaningless spendings, which I miss so much.

Zenit's going to play against Dynamo in an hour, and by that time I hope I'll have enough guests bringing enough food with them. If we win today, we're getting 43 points and we're the 3rd, with Rubin 4 points above. The muslims have lost to Locomotive today, obviously because of being extremely tired after playing Inter on Tuesday. Fortunately for us, they can't handle Championship and the CL at the same time.

Starting it all over again

Yes, here I am.

The pause in blogging was caused by many different (and mostly unpleasant) things which I'm not going to tell you about, first of all because I don't want to remind myself of those, and second - because I hate going into details. You know me, the superficial bastard. Although usually I'm no longer that superficial when it comes to discussing the details of something that is not related to me. I'm just like all of you.

It's October, but it's cold as in the very hell   November. So again we're one month ahead of the whole country. I already had a cold, so there's nothing new to come this month, I hope.

All the best, my little bunnies. Looking forward to hear from you soon.
